We had a wedding in the CastleCrafts family! The wedding favours were each made with love and care and a whole lot of meaning.
Kits used:
#209 Ornate Shelves with Backing
This is one of my favourite kits! It’s so versatile and beautiful. It really does make a wonderful base for any precious bits and bobs.
#64 Vintage Books and
#134 Faux Books
We met through friends while playing Dungeons & Dragons, and we still enjoy our weekly games, so of course we had to have a few DnD themed books!
As very proud South Africans, we definitely wanted to add books on our favourite towns that have deep meaning to us both.
My husband has a love of history and cooking, so the book Cooking History by Max Miller is a well used book in our household (as well as Max’s Youtube channel getting regular play).
#201 Autumn Collection
We used the crate from our Autumn Collection to hold the balls of wool and knitting needles. As an avid fiber artist, I knew there had to be a nod to my love of yarn and crafts.
#185 Shabby Collection and
#5019 Proteas
We used the vase from our Shabby Collection to hold a Protea, as well as some real fynbos from my parents home.
#127 Vintage Tins
We share a love of tabletop gaming, so we definitely needed to add a few of our favourites. Sushi Go is in a tin, so the Vintage Tins as a base was perfect! The rest of our boardgames were made using edited versions of a Hat Boxes and Packaging kits (CastleCrafts has several kits in different themes for this!)
I also do need to mention the artist 퍼엉 (Puuung), creator of the artwork at the very top of our mini, she perfectly captures the beauty of everyday life and I have been admiring her work for over a decade. Love is in the special moments, they don’t have to be big and loud... They are often quiet and simple.
